Reinventing dating — an AI that matches personalities, not faces.

Two founders came with a bold idea: a dating app where matching is based on personality, not appearance. No swiping, no photo-first judgments. Users would fill a detailed personality questionnaire, receive AI-curated matches based on deep compatibility analysis, and only see each other's face on the day of the actual date. Simple concept — but technically and strategically, one of the most complex products we've ever built.

We started from the ground up with product strategy — designing the complete user journey: an engaging personality questionnaire using a tap-only interface (no typing required), an AI matching engine analyzing over 100 criteria across thousands of users, a progressive profile reveal system that keeps both users engaged in the days leading up to the date, availability matching, and AI-suggested date activities and locations. We designed every screen on Figma, then built the app on Bubble with custom React components, powered by OpenAI and Claude for the matching intelligence. The biggest challenge was making an incredibly complex system feel effortless — users fill detailed profiles in minutes, while behind the scenes the AI processes massive datasets to find the right match in under 2 seconds.

A complete dating platform that flips the industry model — personality first, looks second. Within 2 months of launch, Alchiimy became the #1 fastest-growing application on Bubble. Complex AI matching runs seamlessly on a hybrid no-code/code foundation, with a user experience so simple it hides the technical complexity underneath. A product that challenges the status quo of dating apps — proving that technology can serve deeper human connections.
