A premium nursery deserves a premium app — managing childcare and parent communication in one place.

A premium nursery in needed a digital tool to match their level of service. Everything was on paper — morning check-ins, medical records, daily activities, parent communication. The challenge was to build an app that would handle complex internal operations (medical files, vaccine tracking, activity scheduling, staff management) while also providing a simple, delightful experience for parents to follow their child's day in real-time.

We conducted 20+ interviews with both nursery staff and parents to deeply understand their needs before writing a single line of code. We then designed the full product architecture: family profiles with parent and child sub-profiles, medical records with vaccine reminders, a morning check-in system that replaces paper forms with a few taps, activity tracking throughout the day, automated end-of-day reports sent to parents, a messaging system for schedule changes and updates, and a booking module for extra days. Everything was designed on Figma and built on Bubble with custom code — creating a complex management tool that feels simple to use for both staff and parents.

Parents now follow their child's day in real-time and receive automated daily reports. Staff spend less time on admin and more time with children. The app is used every single day and has become the backbone of the nursery's operations.
